Poem -1

The insanity of pain and sorrow was in me.

The clouds of death had taken their toll.

It was then,

I saw a light to which I ran, 

It was a promise to heal me all by it alone

And it wasn’t a hallucinated clone !

It was you with your hands wide open,

Waiting for me to come and die,

All I knew that it wasn’t a lie.

I embraced you my love and now the shallow thoughts were gone,

And I was ready again to sing my own song,

Till my last breath it belonged.
